Peggy has been working in the domestic violence intervention program in Prince William County called ACTS/Turning Points as the Community Outreach Coordinator since 1989. She developed their Court Program and interviews and trains volunteers and new staff.
In her years of doing domestic violence work, she has trained police officers, magistrates, mediators, judges, church staff, social workers, school nurses, probation officers, therapists, teachers, school counselors, military personnel and medical personnel.
She is a member of the Greater Prince William Sexual and Domestic Violence Prevention Council. She was on the Training Task Group for the Attorney General’s Virginia Commission on Family Violence Prevention 1996-98.
She is on the faculty of Virginians Sexual and Domestic Violence Action Alliance’s Training Institute. In 2007 she was their lead trainer for their three day Training for Trainers. She was the DELTA Project coach for the Fauquier Coordinated Community Response Teams on Prevention of Intimate Partner Violence and also coached the teams in Winchester and New Kent County and Charles City. Peggy Sullivan was awarded the Virginians Against Domestic Violence “Beacon” Peace Award in 2002.

Our Mission is to provide information and resources to the community about Domestic Violence. We want to raise funds to help support shelters and Domestic Violence Centers. We hope to create a safe forum where people will gain the tools to deal with domestic violence they have received and the resources to leave and thrive as a functioning person in the community. Kalilia Wilson, a Washington, DC native and product of the DC Public School System, is the daughter of Rev. Willie F. Wilson and Mary L. Wilson, pastors of Union Temple Baptist Church in Washington, DC. Emerging from a legacy of preachers and leaders, Kalilia has always possessed leadership qualities, Kalilia graduated top ten in her class from Eastern Senior High School. She received her BA in Sociology from Spelman College in Atlanta, Georgia, where she graduated cum laude. Lastly, Kalilia attended Candler School of Theology at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, where she received an 85% to full scholarship every year, and earned her Master of Divinity. She currently serves as Youth Pastor at Union Temple Baptist Church, where she has implemented her "Whollynation" concept, which includes starting a Hip Hop choir, holding a yearly youth conference, and planning a wide range of activities to keep youth interested and informed not just in the church, but also in the community. The most recent project, "Stand Up, Stay Strong, Speak Out" was a forum designed to address teen domestic dating violence. "Eyes have not seen" what God has in store for Kalilia in the days ahead.
